1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Demora ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Demora is a browser-based screen recording and video editing platform that allows users to create professional demo videos with automated effects, transitions, and editing capabilities. The Service includes recording, editing, and exporting features accessible through web browsers.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be at least 13 years of age to create an account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including recordings and edited videos. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you record and that your content does not violate any third-party rights.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Record content without proper authorization or consent
  • Create, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service
  • Use the Service for any malicious or fraudulent purposes

6. Subscription and Payment

Billing

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • By subscribing, you authorize automatic recurring charges to your payment method
  • All fees are in USD unless otherwise specified

Free Trial

  • Free trials may be offered at our discretion
  • You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to paid features until the end of the period you paid for

Refunds

  • All fees are non-refundable
  • We do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused features, or account downgrade

Price Changes

  • We reserve the right to change subscription prices
  • We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase
  • Continued use after price change constitutes acceptance

Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed by Polar, our payment provider
  • We do not store your full credit card information

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Demora and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.

8. Copyright and DMCA

DMCA Notice

If you believe content on our Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice to contact@demora.video containing:

  • Your contact information
  • Description of the copyrighted work
  • Location of the infringing content (URL)
  • Statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • Statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was not infringing, you may submit a counter-notice with similar information.

Repeat Infringers

We may terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEMORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also change pricing, features, or availability of the Service. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

12. Beta Features

We may offer beta or experimental features ("Beta Features"). Beta Features are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We may modify or discontinue Beta Features at any time without notice. Your use of Beta Features is at your own risk, and we shall not be liable for any issues arising from their use.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We may delete your account data after 30 days
  • Any unused subscription time is forfeited and non-refundable
  • Content you created remains in your local browser storage

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Korea.
